Accessibility

All Bright Lights screenings will be fully captioned. Films will have either open or closed captions as indicated for each film under the current program section and will require glasses to view the text. You can request glasses from the box office or from any of the ArtsEmerson house staff.

Introductions and trailers will all have open captions that appear on screen for all attendees.

The conversations will be captioned live by an independent CART provider and will appear on screen. You can also access captions on a personal device such as a phone or ipad via Streamtext at: https://www.streamtext.net/player?event=Fall2023.BrtLts

We will offer descriptive audio for films where it has been made available from the distributor. See film descriptions on the current program page for more information.

The Bright is also outfitted with an assisted listening system. The amplification devices are available at the Paramount box office.

For more information on accessibility in the Paramount;  including seating, service animals, ADA parking and more, check out the ArtsEmerson website here.

We invite you all to collaborate on our accessibility initiatives. This is an ongoing process as we endeavor to make our cinema a more welcoming space for all. We invite you to contact the head of film exhibition, Anna Feder with any suggestions.
