She will work alongside professional dramaturgy and directing mentors during the festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #444444\">Tierra was nominated for this award on behalf of her work on Emerson Stage\u2019s presentation of Louis Nowra\u2019s\u00a0<strong style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #333399\"><em><a style=\"color: #3b317e\" href=\"http:\/\/www.emerson.edu\/academics\/departments\/performing-arts\/emerson-stage\/past-seasons\/2010-2011-season\/golden-age\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #333399\">The Golden Age<\/span><\/a><\/em><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0in the spring of 2011, directed by Benny Sato Ambush. Working closely with Ambush as well as professor and professional dramaturg, Magda Romanska, Tierra\u2019s first dramaturgy experience resulted in an annotated script, interactive lobby display, production blog, and diligent research work which helped shape the production as a whole.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #444444\">Tierra, a BA Theatre Studies: Dramaturgy major, travelled to the Kennedy Center in Washington DC with fellow Emerson students.\u00a0CACTF is a national theater program involving students from colleges and universities nationwide.
