In addition, a paper she wrote has\u00a0been accepted for presentation at the <a href=\"http:\/\/brecht.mml.ox.ac.uk\/ibs-symposium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">15th Symposium of the International Brecht Society 2016<\/a>\u200f. The symposium, \u201cRecycling Brecht,\u201d will take place June 25\u201329, 2016, at St Hugh\u2019s College, University of Oxford.<\/p>\n<p>Schulte, who is concentrating in Dramaturgy, started her academic career with a presentation on children\u2019s theater that she delivered at the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of Americas conference in Boston in 2013. Emerson Associate Professor of Performing Arts Magda Romanska chaired the conference.<\/p>\n<p>On campus, Schulte also served as dramaturg of a play directed by Emerson Senior Distinguished Producing Director-in-Residence Benny Sato Ambush,\u00a0<em>Anything to Declare?<\/em>, which was presented by Emerson Stage in October 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hanife Schulte was awarded a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Research Grant for travel to Berlin to research her master\u2019s thesis.
