Located on Dorchester Avenue, Ba Le is<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/balebanhmiboston.com\/menu.html#:~:text=B%C3%81NH%20M%C3%8C,and%20soy%20sauce.\"> known for their banh mi<\/a>, <\/strong>which are sandwiches served with homemade mayo, fish sauce, your choice of meat, and a variety of delicious toppings!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another great local Vietnamese restaurant is<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ban-toi-restaurant.business.site\/?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=gmb#gallery\">Ban Toi<\/a>. <\/strong>They\u2019ve got an extensive menu which includes seafood, noodle soups, specialty dishes, smoothies, and more! Founded by longtime locals, McKenna\u2019s has a truly homey feel. Plus, they\u2019ve got an extensive breakfast and lunch menu with something for everyone. If you\u2019re an early riser, McKenna\u2019s opens at 5:30am every day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for somewhere to get a beer and relax with friends, the neighborhood has many options! Harp &amp; Bard is a relaxed bar with American food and plenty of large screen TVs if you\u2019re trying to catch the game. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/jjsirishdorchester\/\">JJ\u2019s Irish Pub and Grille<\/a> i<\/strong>s another local favorite with a cozy atmosphere. One popular spot is the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/locations\/savin-hill-and-malibu-beach\">Savin Hill and Malibu Beach<\/a>, <\/strong>where you can swim, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theswimguide.org\/beach\/2603#:~:text=Savin%20Hill%20is%20a%20sandy%20beach%20with%20trails%2C%20restrooms%2C%20benches%2C%20a%20playground%2C%20and%20sports%20fields.%20There%20is%20free%20parking%2C%20and%20lifeguards%20are%20on%20duty%20for%20the%20summer%20season.\">walk a trail<\/a>, <\/strong>or play a pickup game in one of the fields.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The area is also part of the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emeraldnecklace.org\/park-overview\/emerald-necklace-map\/\">Emerald Necklace<\/a>, <\/strong>a series of interconnected parks that span over 1,000 acres in Massachusetts. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boston.gov\/parks\/franklin-park\">Franklin Park<\/a>, <\/strong>a 450-acre park in the Emerald Necklace, runs right through Savin Hill and is a great perk of the area.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Between the affordable rent, great food options, and outdoor activities, Savin Hill is a great neighborhood to settle into.
