Furthermore grants in publishing\u00a0<\/strong>is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for 2025 grants.\u00a0

Furthermore<\/a> supports the publication of nonfiction books concerning the arts, history, and the natural and built environments<\/strong>. We seek work that will appeal to an informed general audience and give evidence of high standards in writing, design, and production.

Grant awards range from $1,500 to $12,000 and fund specific publication components such as writing, research, editing, indexing, design, illustration, photography, and printing and binding. Preference is given to projects with a publisher’s commitment and feasible distribution plans.\u00a0

Recipients of Furthermore grants are located throughout the U.S. and occasionally abroad; please note that we are only able to consider books published in English.
Applicants must be 501(c)3 organizations; applications from individuals are not accepted.

Grant applications should be submitted online through our\u00a0website<\/a>\u00a0no later than midnight EDT July 1<\/strong>. Please note that Furthermore will offer only a single cycle of grants in 2025.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
