These funds are intended to help support jobs in the arts sector, keep the doors open to arts organizations nationwide, and assist the field in its response to and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.\">The American Rescue Plan &#8212; Grants to Organizations<\/a>&#8220;. The program will be carried out through one-time grants to eligible organizations in the arts sector that have been impacted by the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications  will be due on <strong>August 12, 2021<\/strong>. Grants will be awarded in <strong>fixed grant amounts of $50,000, $100,000, or $150,000<\/strong>. Cost share\/matching funds are not required. Unlike other Arts Endowment funding programs that offer project-based support, Rescue Plan funds are intended to support day-to-day business expenses\/operating costs, and not specific programmatic activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Limits<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As non-profit institution, <strong>Emerson College may submit only one application<\/strong> under these guidelines, with the following exceptions: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applications for Ploughshares, ArtsEmerson, HowlRound, and WERS, each of which NEA has classified as an &#8220;independent component&#8221; of Emerson;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are thinking of applying this year, <a href=\"mailto:eric_asetta@emerson.edu\">please contact ORCS<\/a> at your earliest convenience.
