This implementation will be effective <strong>April 4, 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the implementation isn\u2019t until April, many federal agencies (including the National Science Foundation) have begun the transition from the use of the DUNS number to the UEI, so you may be asked to include this number on your federal grant applications moving forward.
