The Foundation will open its <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/creative-capital.org\/about-the-creative-capital-award\/\" target=\"_blank\">2024 individual grant program<\/a> on March 1, with <strong>letters of inquiry due on March 31, 2023<\/strong>. The Creative Capital Foundation provides awards and advisory services to artists in 34 different disciplines, including visual art, performing arts, film, and literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/websites.emerson.edu\/orcs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/02\/CreativeCapital-1024x320.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/websites.emerson.edu\/orcs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/02\/CreativeCapital-1024x320.png 1024w, https:\/\/websites.emerson.edu\/orcs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/02\/CreativeCapital-300x94.png 300w, https:\/\/websites.emerson.edu\/orcs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/02\/CreativeCapital-768x240.png 768w, https:\/\/websites.emerson.edu\/orcs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/02\/CreativeCapital-900x281.png 900w, https:\/\/websites.emerson.edu\/orcs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/02\/CreativeCapital-1280x400.png 1280w, https:\/\/websites.emerson.edu\/orcs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/02\/CreativeCapital.png 1417w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In celebration of their 25th Anniversary, Creative Capital has announced one-time theme for the 2023\/2024 grant cycles: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/creative-capital.org\/about-the-creative-capital-award\/#wildfutures\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>&#8220;Wild Futures: Art, Culture, Impact.&#8221;<\/strong><\/a> In the next grant cycle, Creative Capital is seeking proposals for new artistic work that address social, economic, and environmental justice, and advance the global dialogue around the sustainability of artists, our communities, our planet, and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, artists will be able to submit applications for their projects in <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visual Arts<\/strong>: including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, architecture, design, multimedia, installation, video art, new genres, craft, and socially engaged and\/or sustainable visual art-based practices<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Film &amp; Moving Image<\/strong>: including experimental film, short film, animation, documentary film, narrative film, and socially engaged and\/or sustainable film\/moving image-based practices<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creative Capital is one of the only non-profit organizations to offer awards to individual artists through an open application process; therefore, it is very competitive, with less than 1% of applicants receiving awards.
