A View from Boylston: 2 Boylston Place
Our new residence hall at 2 Boylston Place is nearing completion. Joelle Lewis, a first-year student at Emerson, brings us on a guided tour of the new building.
For the last year we have watched as this new part of campus has sprung from the ground up, literally. Students have already signed up to live here in the fall, and we all are ecstatic to see this new “home away from home” come to fruition. Watch the video to become more familiar with the offerings of this wonderful new addition to our urban campus overlooking historic Boston Common.
EVVY Awards Nominations Announced
The EVVY Awards, Emerson’s award show, (which happens to be the largest student-run award show in the nation) released its list of nominations yesterday.
The Gala is taking place April 23, and the Mainstage show in the Cutler Majestic is on May 12. Take a look to see if your student or one of their friends were nominated, and make sure to tune in on the EVVY Awards website for more information. The EVVY Awards show will stream on the website. A link to the stream will be posted a few days before the show. The show begins at 7:00pm on May 12, 2017. People on campus will be able to watch the broadcast live on The Emerson Channel.
