Clean Out Your Office Event Next Week

Emerson will be holding its annual office spring–cleaning event in conjunction with RecycleMania on March 8, 10:30 am–2:00 pm, and March 9, 11:00 am–2:00 pm, in the Bordy Theater. This event provides a chance to responsibly recycle a whole host of unneeded things around your office.

Below is an outline of the three programs being offered. Thank you for your ongoing support of RecycleMania and sustainability initiatives at Emerson College.

Document Shredding: The Records Management team will provide secure bins for the destruction of confidential papers and media (VHS tapes, film, etc.). We will also advise faculty and staff regarding what records need to be shredded and what materials can be tossed into the regular recycling bins.

Regular Recycling: Not sure how a particular office item should be recycled or disposed of? Bring it to the Bordy and we’ll help you get rid of it responsibly.

E-Waste: Virtually any electronic device (computer, monitor, printer, etc.) can and should be properly recycled. Drop it off or bring it to the Bordy and we’ll show you how.
