College Opens Reflection Room

Reflection Room

In February, the College opened the Reflection Room, a new space for the Emerson community, including staff, faculty, and students, to meditate, reflect, or pray. Emerson College is proud to provide a space in which members of the community can step away from their busy schedules for a moment or two of meditation and personal reflection. The new space is located in the Max Mutchnick Campus Center, 150 Boylston Street, in Room L154.

It has been used by Spiritual Life organizations and the Office of Violence Prevention and Response, and is open to the Emerson community. Tikesha Morgan (Multicultural Student Affairs) said that they are hoping to offer guided meditation classes in the room later in the semester. The Reflection Room can accommodate up to 10 people, depending on the activity. The Room was developed out of collaborative efforts of the Campus Center, Multicultural Student Affairs, Student Life, and the Dean of Students Office. The space can be requested online by community members through our room booking portal at events.emerson.edu/reserve or in person at the Campus Center.
