  • Anna Feder (Visual and Media Arts) spoke at the annual Arthouse Convergence conference on a panel about “Cultivating a Younger Audience” in Utah in January. She will be speaking at SXSW’s 90-minute film school in Austin, Texas, in March on “Your Golden Ticket: Navigating the world of festivals with your short film.”
  • Chuck Dunham and Nancy Howell (Marketing), Nicole Sullivan (Communications), and Kevin Fleming (Alumni Relations) were on the planning committee for the annual Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District I Conference, which was held in Boston in January.

  • Abbe Erle (Community Standards and Student Conduct), Annelle Kallman (ECAPS), and Laura Owen (Center for Health and Wellness) recently presented on “Let’s Be Blunt: An Alternative Sanction for Marijuana” at the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA) National Conference in Florida in February.
  • Laura Owen (Center for Health and Wellness) will receive the American College Health Association (ACHA) New Professional Affiliates Award at the ACHA annual meeting in Austin, Texas, in May.

Frankie Frain (IT) and his wife, Nina, are expecting a baby girl in June.
