Changes to eCommon
IT is migrating eCommon to the main Emerson website later this month (tentatively Friday, February 23). The new site will still be accessible at ecommon.emerson.edu. All links/resources currently on eCommon will be moved to the new site.
Users will authenticate to the site with their Emerson username and password via Duo, our campus single sign-on platform. The new website will be arranged in expanding “accordion” sections that correspond to the existing tabs. You can see an example on the Human Resources Staff and Faculty Leave of Absence page.
You will find links to Banner, where you can access all of the same resources as before, including:
- Timesheets and leave reports
- 2017 W-2
- Student Registration
- Direct Deposit
- Contact Information
There will also be the same helpful links and resources to other campus services, including Canvas, Wells Fargo for managing P-cards, Marketplace, HR forms, and more.
If you are a current or former Emerson student, you will have a Student or Former Student section that will include the same links and resources as the former iteration of eCommon.
If you have any problems accessing eCommon resources after the transfer, contact the IT Help Desk.
