  • Shana Healy-Kern and Justin Sharifipour (Enrollment Technology), along with staff from DePaul University, presented at the annual Technolutions Slate Summit conference in Chicago on June 28 on “Maximizing the Status Portal for Admitted Applicants.” Approximately 2,500 Slate customers were in attendance, and Shana and Justin presented at a standing room-only session with about 500 attendees.

  • Representatives from the College and the staff union (SEIU 888) came together on June 15 to sign their first contract.

  • Matt Carney (Housing and Residence Life) attended the National Housing Training Institute (NHTI) at the University of South Florida June 5–10. He was one of 31 housing professionals from around the country who applied and were invited to participate in the program.
  • Daryl Paranada and Shaneice Warfield (ELA) attended the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in American Higher Education in New Orleans May 29–June 2.
