April and May Award of Excellence Winners

Alicia Carlson (Communications and Marketing) is the April Award of Excellence winner and Adriana Guida (Enrollment Management) is the May Award of Excellence winner.

Alicia Carlson has been the video production manager in Communications and Marketing since 2017. Previously, she was the manager of the Journalism Production Center from 2015 to 2017. She will become a double Emerson alumna this December, having graduated with a BS in Journalism in 2002 and currently finishing up the Strategic Marketing Communication graduate program. She said of winning the award, “I was completely surprised and very humbled by the award, because so many people worked hard to transition all aspects of our campus to an online environment. I really appreciate the nomination and recognition!”

Adriana Guida is assistant director of undergraduate admission in Enrollment Management. She started working here in 2016, four years after graduating from Emerson with a BS in Political Communication. She said of winning the award, “Receiving this recognition was a bright spot in a challenging spring….I’m glad to have been a part of making online opportunities available for [prospective] students and their families!”
