Emerson Pride Campaign

This year, the College is launching our inaugural Emerson College Pride Campaign: a month-long campaign that celebrates our LGBTQIA+ folx and raises money for the newly created Emerson Pride Fund. The Pride Fund (administered through the Office of Campus Life in consultation with Intercultural Student Affairs and student org leaders) will aid in programming, organizations, events, and services for LGBTQIA+ students on campus, fostering a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all students. You can learn more about the fund and make a gift here: givecampus.com/schools/EmersonCollege/emerson-college-pride-campaign

There are also a number of events throughout the month that you can learn more about and register for at emerson.edu/pride. Join us and eQual on Saturday, June 12, for the Trans Resistance March & Vigil. We’ll meet at 10:30 am at the Frugal Bookstore (57 Warren St., Roxbury, MA 02119) and march together. Let us know if you’re coming here: eventbrite.com/e/emerson-pride-trans-resistance-march-vigil-registration-158027046149

Wisdom Wednesdays

Wisdom Wednesday weekly meditation is BACK for the summer! All Emersonians (students, staff, faculty) are invited to join in any Wednesday for a brief meditation practice—no previous experience is necessary! We begin each session with some live music followed by introductions around the room. From there, we’ll introduce a different meditation or practice each week. Zoom links and more info can be found on EmConnect: emconnect.emerson.edu/organization/spirituallife
