2023 Staff Appreciation Reception
For the first time in four years, staff came together in person to celebrate work anniversaries. The staff appreciation reception was held on May 24 in the Lion’s Den. Interim President Bill Gilligan and Jamie Montgomery-Hyde (HR) gave remarks and handed out service awards.
Anne Doyle (Academic Affairs) has been employed at the College for 37 years and received her 35-year service award at the reception. She said, “I have stayed at Emerson because I love the work I do with students, co-workers, and my wonderful staff. I have been supported by wonderful mentors, such as Mary Harkins, Jackie Liebergott, and Linda Moore, who guided me to make good decisions and grow at the College. I am fortunate to have a job where I feel respected and appreciated.”
Many of Doyle’s staff also celebrated work anniversaries, and Doyle noted that they have 160 years of service among them!
Diego Salazar (School of Communication) also received a 35-year service award at the reception. He said, “Emerson College is an ever-changing place where I have learned and grown. I am blessed to have been part of these incredible changes during the last thirty-five years!”
