WasteNot Emerson Happenings

Congratulations to the defending champions, Student Success/Enrollment, on their second win of the Office Recycling Competition! And thanks to all participating offices for their great waste diversion rates. Waste diversion refers to the percentage of total waste that gets recycled, meaning that it won’t end up in the trash and it can be repurposed and reused for the future. We look forward to next year’s competition!

And this is a FINAL CALL for WasteNot Art Competition submissions! Until March 29, Emerson Sustainability will be accepting artwork from students, faculty, and staff that relates to sustainability. Any medium, any sustainability topic. The winner will receive a Caminito upcycled blanket! Review the submission form for more details.

Photo Caption Contest

Congratulations to the winner of February’s photo caption contest, Diana Potter (Research and Creative Scholarship). Her winning caption was “Where in the world is my W.B. Mason order?”
