2016 Holiday Drives on Campus

Pajama Program Holiday Drive
December 7

The President’s Office will be collecting new children’s pajamas and new children’s books for the Pajama Program at the Holiday Party at the InterContinental Boston on December 7.

Max Mutchnick Campus Center Food Drive
Until December 17

The Campus Center is holding its annual food drive to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank. Items eligible for donation include, but are not limited to:

  • Dairy: milk (dried, evaporated, and boxed shelf-stable milk)
  • Protein: beef stew; nuts; peanut butter; beans; peas (dried or canned); chili; and canned tuna fish, chicken, and salmon
  • Vegetables: tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, vegetables (canned), tomato juice
  • Fruit: raisins and other dried fruit, applesauce, any canned fruit in its own juice
  • Grains: crackers, oatmeal, whole grain rice, all types of pasta, ready-to-eat low sugar/high fiber cereal (e.g., Cheerios, Raisin Bran)

Drop off canned and other dry good items at the Information Booth on the first floor of the Campus Center at 150 Boylston Street.

ECPD Toys for Tots Drive
Until December 20

This holiday season marks the sixth annual Emerson College Police Department Toys for Tots Drive. ECPD will be collecting toys in partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps. Over the past five years, the ECPD has collected more than 1,000 new unwrapped toys that were distributed to some of the less fortunate children in the Greater Boston area. Find Toys for Tots drop-off bins in the following campus locations:

  • Emerson College Police Dispatch/Operations Center, Little Building, 211 Tremont Street
  • Piano Row (Security Post)
  • Paramount Center (Security Post)
  • IT Department, 20 Park Plaza, 13th Floor
