  • Representatives from the College and the ECPD’s union (ACOPS) came together on July 17 to sign a new four-year contract.

  • Rosalie Gartner (Archives and Special Collections) co-presented on a panel at the Society of American Archivists annual meeting, which was held in Portland, Oregon, July 23–29. During the panel, titled “Archives Outreach Theatre: A Vaudeville,” she spoke about how she has used one of Emerson’s collections in classes.
  • Academic Affairs held its annual retreat at the Museum of Science on August 4. Maria Figueroa (Graduate Studies) and Matthew Phelan (Lacerte Family WARC) were recognized for 30 years of service.
