  • Student Affairs Cabinet members showed their support of the Men’s Basketball team at the end of February. The team made it to the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament.

  • Meredith Ainbinder (General Counsel) was recognized as a 2019 In-House Leader in the Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly on March 6.
  • Erin Clossey (Communications); Steve Schaefer (Major Gifts); and Chuck Dunham, Nancy Howell, and Maureen Mello (Marketing) attended the CASE District I annual conference in Boston March 14–15.
  • Adam Engel, Korina Figueroa, Natalie Hebshie, and Jennifer Stevens (ITG) presented at the NERCOMP annual conference in Providence March 19–20.
  • Shen de Leon (Housing and Residence Life) received the NASPA APIKC Outstanding New Professional Award for his contributions to the Asian/Pacific Islander/Desi American community in higher education.

tamia jordan (Intercultural Student Affairs) spoke at the United Nations’ Commission on the Status of Women’s 63rd session on March 18, as part of her work with the organization Operation LIPSTICK.
