Campus Moves This Summer
As you are probably aware, a major renovation of the Little Building is scheduled to begin at the end of the 2017 school year. In order for that work to proceed, a number of key College functions must be moved out of the building. This summer, you’ll start to see some of those moves, along with a number of enabling moves, occurring across campus. Here is an outline of what you can expect in the coming months; we will continue to keep you updated as the plan evolves.
This set of moves is also the beginning of a strategic way of thinking about how Emerson’s space is managed. As demand for new and expanded space grows, it is imperative that a thoughtful approach to prioritization, location, and proximity of services be established with the goal of making the best use of our precious space resources. The Real Estate and Facilities Office is leading this initiative with great attention and care.
