March 8 is International Women’s Day and the month of March is Women’s History Month in the United States. Each year, the National Women’s Alliance chooses the theme for the month, and their 2024 selection is Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, a sentiment that rings true to Emerson’s values of equity, access, and social justice.
Learn more about the origin of Women’s History Month, its roots in the town of Santa Rosa, California, and explore the tremendous impact and accomplishments of both the history and present stories of women in the resources below.
