The Emerson Roar dramaturgy blog nominated for an Evvy!
The Emerson Roar is a new, student-run blog dedicated to reviewing and analyzing Emerson-related theatrical productions through a dramaturgical lens. The goal of the blog is to introduce the concept of dramaturgy to the Emerson community and to open up the behind-the-scenes theatrical process. Started as a project for her dramaturgy independent study, sophomore B.A. Theatre Studies major and dramaturg Robin Goldberg turned her blog into a student-run forum with the guidance of Professor Magda Romanska. Robin now works with a staff of undergrad and graduate students to bring show reviews, analytical articles,
and production team interviews to the performing arts community, as well as the Emerson community at large.
