  • Rebecca Meyer (Instructional Technology Group) recently passed the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) Accessible Document Specialist (ADS) certification exam. She did this with the support of Emerson’s IAAP Pilot Group. The certificate directly supports her work with PDF remediation for student accommodations and training student assistants in this work. Only 245 people around the world have this certification.

And in personal news…

  • Shaylin Hogan (Graduate Programs) participated in her first jigsaw puzzle competition on January 25. She and her three teammates, the Grey 9s, took third place with no prior meetups. Hogan noted that the time difference between 1st and 3rd place was fewer than 5 minutes.
