Meeting You is a short film about a couple in a long-term, toxic and on-off relationship who have agreed to fake a first date as the last night they’ll ever see each other as a means to breakup without saying goodbye, however deep in love they might be.
Filming will take place between December 3 and 5 in Boston, MA.

Casting Call Description:
Meeting You is currently casting for two main roles, one minor role, and extras:
Iris: (Female, mid-twenties) Iris is an outspoken woman who does and says what she wants without much shame or thought. She is a vibrant, bright, person that can have high highs, low lows and suffers from codependent tendencies. She doesn’t know how to be alone and sometimes confuses her love for Heron and her fear of solitude. Part of her is hoping to poke Heron into continuing the relationship rather than breakup.
Heron: (Male, mid-twenties) Heron is slightly more reserved than Iris and can be self-conscious about how he comes across. He is a kind person but can get frustrated easily when something goes wrong or ride a wave of enthusiasm a little too far. He is trying with only mild success to hide how much the breakup hurts him as he knows that if he shows too much pain or asks Iris to stay she will despite knowing they’ll only hurt each other more in the future.
Minor Roles and Extras: Meeting You is also casting someone to play a minor role (1-2 lines) as a waiter, as well as background extras.
