  • Matthew Carney (Housing and Residential Education) was recently elected as the Massachusetts district coordinator for the Northeast Association for College and University Housing Officers (NEACUHO). In this two-year position, he will sit on the NEACUHO executive board and support colleges and universities in Massachusetts in a variety of ways. He previously served as NEACUHO’s secretary and five-year strategic planning co-chair.
  • Tim Douglas (Academic Advising) performed in this year’s Southwick Recital on November 1. He recited Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven.”
  • Stan Nance (Athletics) attended the launch of the exhibit Barrier Breakers: From Jackie to Pumpsie at the College’s Loft on Juneteenth.

COYO Recap

Thanks to all who participated in our Fall COYO (Clean Out Your Office) Day in October. We diverted 248 pounds of waste, with leftover items being donated to Goodwill. Read more on the Sustainable Emerson blog.
