Emerson College, Boston, resides on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Massachusetts people, whose name was appropriated by this Commonwealth. The Bright Lights Cinema Series makes a commitment to amplifying the voices of indigenous filmmakers and highlighting the stories of the original stewards of this land and encourages all of us to work toward the continued self-determination of Indigenous peoples the world over.
