The campus community is eagerly awaiting the debut of the new Dining Center at 122-124 Boylston St, opening in fall 2017.

Designed by architectural firm Elkus Manfredi, the Dining Center will be on two above ground elevations with entrances on Boylston Street, as well as in 19 Boylston Place, adjacent to the Walker building. The space will be more than 18,000 square feet and provide seating for about 550. The plans also include a dinner-theatre style stage space that can be used for lectures and small performances.

Since the day of ground-breaking, the work has never ceased. The construction team has been striving through summer heat and now through wind and snow, working day in and day out to have this building open for the new school year in the fall.

Thank you to the ad hoc task force, the Board of Trustees, Elkus Manfredi, and all of the construction workers in Boylston Place. The “new” Emerson would not exist without their hard work and determination.
