Do you know of a person, organization, or program at Emerson College that has done something outstanding in the past year to create a more sustainable future?
This year, the Sustainability Committee and student Eco Ambassadors will be reviving Emerson College’s Sustainability Advancement Award, which was last awarded in 2017.
Here is the official award description:
The Sustainability Advancement Award recognizes thoughtful, creative, and inclusive work that helps Emerson achieve social, economic, and/or environmental sustainability for the College and beyond. The award recipient —a student, employee, organization, or program— is selected jointly by the Sustainability Committee and student Eco Ambassadors and is celebrated for leading Emerson toward a more sustainable future.
We are accepting nominations through this google form starting Monday, March 6, 2023. All nominations are due by 11:59 pm on Friday, March 24, 2023. The nominations will be reviewed jointly by the Sustainability Committee and the Eco Ambassadors. You can learn more about those groups here, The winner of the 2023 award will be announced during Earth Week!
Remember, you can nominate a student, employee, organization, or program, including yourself! Sustainability efforts can include social, economic, and environmental work in the community, in Boston, and beyond.
