Did you know that you can recycle empty toner and ink cartridges at Emerson through WB Mason? Recycling your printer’s cartridges is a great way to keep useful materials out of landfills and help Emerson stay sustainable! Once WB Mason sends cartridges back to HP, they are recycled and made into new cartridges (Read more here)!
We provide an array of options for cartridge recycling so offices can choose what works best for their needs. Here are the three ways to get your cartridges to WB Mason:
- When WB Mason delivers to your office, you can give your delivery person empty cartridges, free of charge and without notice.
- Email sustainability@emerson.edu to request a collection bin for your office. This option is best for those who have a high volume of cartridges and/or have space for a 20x20x20in. box in their office. When your bin is full, you can send it back to WB Mason using the prepaid label on the box. Just drop it off at the staff mailroom in Colonial or put in a work order to have it brought to the mailroom.
- Fill out the Toner & Ink Cartridge Recycling Form to request to have your cartridges picked up by Emerson Sustainability. This option is best for those who have a smaller volume of cartridges, do not have space for a (LxWxH) collection box, and/or do not receive WB Mason deliveries at the same frequency that they go through cartridges.
