Position: Sustainability Coordinator
What are you working on as Sustainability Coordinator?: I will be helping out on all things related to sustainability at Emerson, with a focus on waste diversion efforts. Right now, I am working on promoting our Green Events Certification and coordinating our K Cup recycling program for offices around campus!
Why do you care about sustainability?: When I was in college, I learned about human impacts on the environment and developed a passion for sustainability. It’s something I knew I wanted to advocate for once I learned about it. Now, I am working to help foster other students’ sustainability passions! I also love outdoor activities like hiking and to be outside as often as possible. I want to help protect the environment so that we can continue enjoying it. I look forward to getting to know the Emerson community and helping to reduce our impact!
