Favorite Part of Pub Club: Internship Week, because I invented it and am a very biased person.
Craziest Pub Club Memory: When Natalie and I went to pick up books before the launch, we discovered that a word was missing from one of the covers. We could only take half the books with us. The other half were picked up the day of the launch and didn’t arrive until it was almost time to open the doors. That day, it was raining so hard that half of us were blowdrying our hair in the Bordy while we set up.
Why do you love publishing?:I love the idea of continually learning while helping others to do the same. Books span so many different topics and genres and languages. It’s a beautiful thing to compare translations, editions, and favorite reads. It’s also amazing the first time you can hold a book in your hand and say, “I helped make this happen.”
Patronus: Penguin—They’re adorable and always in formalwear. They’re also one hell of a hockey team.
