Hosted by Tufts University Career Center, this is a great opportunity to meet both professionals in publishing and other like-minded students. It takes place from 6-8 in the Milmore Room on the 7th floor of Tuft’s Dowling Hall, located at 419 Boston Avenue, Medford, Massachusetts. And, best of all, it’s free!
Tuesday, May 3: 59th Annual New England Book Show
Hosted every year by Bookbuilders of Boston, this book show has it all. You’ll be able to see some awesome books, meet industry professionals, and even eat a meal! All of this is included in the student price of $15, and it is a chance you won’t want to pass up. The book show even has a student competition, in which Wilde Press placed second last semester for To the Strangers, from Far Away. It will take place at Symphony Hall, located at 301 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, MA.
Wednesday, July 20: Summer Casual Networking Event (Potluck Picnic)
Want to meet publishing professionals in a casual context? Want to spend time on Boston’s amazing waterfront? Want to buy some cheap cookies at CVS and then eat the delicious food everyone else brought? Then head down to Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park in the North End and enjoy yourself.
