Some popular clubs include the International Graduate Student Union (IGSO) and EBONI, Emerson’s Black Organization with Natural Interest. IGSO regularly hosts fun events like bowling night, and you don’t have to be an international student to participate! It’s a club for any and all Emerson graduate students to come together and relax outside of school. EBONI is another wonderful organization that built a community around political, cultural, and professional empowerment of Black Emerson students. Emerson’s primary campus is located in the heart of downtown Boston. Known as one of the nation’s most walkable cities, Boston is easy to navigate and full of culture. Located in the middle of the Theatre District and a short walk from Chinatown and the North End, Emerson is in the hub of Boston’s art and food scene.

Students in the Writing for Film and Television program will have two of their week-long in-person residencies at the LA campus.
