Faculty Virtual Course Design Spa

Save the dates! The Course Design Spa is back, virtual, and even bigger than ever!  The Course Design Spa is your one-stop shop for everything you need to get your semester off to a great start. And because we know that August is a busy time for everyone, we are expanding the spa to a multi-day event of virtual assistance and support. Spa consultants will be available August 16th – 19th from 10am-2pm EDT each day.

What’s in it for you?

Public session presenters and one-on-one consultants can help you:

• Learn how to support students in and out of the classroom

• Develop research assignments and integrate library materials into your course

• Establish learning objectives and learning assessments

• Integrate Canvas, WordPress, Panopto, Emerson.build, and other instructional technologies into your course

• Discuss pedagogical strategies for equity and inclusion

• Adjust courses to accommodate students with disabilities

• Learn about the technologies available in the classrooms and computer labs

• Discuss anti-oppression pedagogy

• Prepare assignments so students can get appropriate support from writing and time management experts

• Support international students’ needs
